Pues por aquí fueron muy bien las cosas . Por la mañana hicimos una serie de actos “teatrales” enfrente de la Delegación de Extranjería de Bilbao. Y por la tarde-OEE junto
con un conjunto de organizaciones (fundacionellacuria, cear-euskadi, harresiakapurtuz, sosracismo, medicosdelmundo y Caritas hicimos una manifestación. A ver si mañana mismo os enviamos fotos de todos los actos
Por otro lado tuvimos bastante cobertura mediática, Como ejemplo os mando un artículo que nos publicaron en el Diario DEIA (de bastante difusión el País Vasco)

“We had an excellent picket yesterday – in front of the Home Office in London – to commemorate the 39 (Vietnamese) who died in the truck being transported from Belgium to Britain and to mark International Migrant rights Day. Health for Refugee Women: Film and Discussion
The co-conveners of the Permanent Peoples` Tribunal hearing in Berlin (scheduled for Autumn) want to draw the attention of the wider public to the deficits in the access to health care for refugee and migrant women in Germany. The film “Testimonials from the uterus”, is a documentary that was produced as part of the health project “Health care for all without discrimination” by Women in Exile.
In the film three refugee women give testimonies about different experiences they have had around their health issues and how the health care system treats them as asylum seekers. Furthermore, professionals supporting refugees reflect on what it means to be a non-citizen when trying to access the German health care system.
The screening of the film, was followed by lively Panel debate & Public Forum moderated by Women in Exile.

Espanol: Salud para las mujeres refugiadas: cine y debate
Los coordinadores de la audiencia del Tribunal Permanente de los Pueblos en Berlín (programada para otoño) quieren llamar la atención del público en general sobre los déficits en el acceso a la atención médica para las mujeres refugiadas y migrantes en Alemania. La película “Testimonios del útero”, es un documental que fue producido como parte del proyecto de salud “Atención de salud para todos sin discriminación” de Women in Exile.
En la película, tres mujeres refugiadas dan testimonios sobre las diferentes experiencias que han tenido con respecto a sus problemas de salud y cómo el sistema de atención médica las trata como solicitantes de asilo. Además, los profesionales que apoyan a los refugiados reflexionan sobre lo que significa no ser ciudadano cuando intentan acceder al sistema de salud alemán. La proyección de la película fue seguida por un animado debate en el panel y un foro público moderado por Women in Exile. Los participantes son: ver arriba
